Code of Conduct

A Message to Our Staff, Participants, and Volunteers

At our theatre, we strive to welcome new patrons and volunteers while ensuring that those already with us feel valued and comfortable. To maintain a positive and professional environment, we prioritize clear communication, respect, and professionalism.

Theatre Cleanliness and Maintenance

A clean theatre is essential for professionalism, safety, and efficiency. Whether you are leading a rehearsal, a work crew, or a business meeting, please allocate 15 to 30 minutes at the end of your session for clean-up.

  • Sweep floors, put away tools, and return supplies to their designated places.

  • Dispose of trash properly and clean up spills to prevent pests.

  • Help maintain the theatre's exterior. If you see trash in front of the theatre, behind the building, or in the north parking lot, please take a moment to tidy up.

Dress Code and Professionalism

When at the theatre or representing it, your attire should reflect professionalism:

  • Avoid clothing with suggestive, inappropriate, or opinionated messages.

  • Business casual is the standard unless engaged in work crew activities.

Respect and Awareness

We are a diverse community, and everyone deserves respect, regardless of age, ethnicity, or background. Please be mindful of:

  • Personal space and body fragrances, as sensitivities vary.

  • Theatre etiquette, including keeping certain elements behind the scenes—such as costumed cast members, private discussions, theatre assets, and technology—which should not be visible to patrons.

General Etiquette and Best Practices

  • Arrive on time.

  • Use the appropriate cast and staff entrances.

  • Treat all theatre property with care.

  • Leave closer parking spots available for patrons.

  • Be a positive role model in all interactions.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Code of Conduct, please contact the Executive Director immediately.

Thank you for helping us maintain a welcoming, professional, and respectful theatre environment.
